Flat roofing in the UK has undergone a significant shift in specification over the past two decades. The old-style mineral felt systems that were standard on garages and extensions through the 1980s and 1990s are being replaced by single-ply membranes, primarily EPDM rubber, that offer dramatically superior longevity, UV resistance and waterproofing performance.

At Roofers Direct, we do not apply a one-size approach. We begin with a survey of your existing roof, assessing the deck, the drainage, the perimeter details, upstands and any penetrations, before advising on the most appropriate system for your building and budget.

Our primary flat roof system is fully adhered EPDM, which we specify and install across domestic and commercial applications. Where alternative systems are more appropriate, we will advise honestly.
